Eucalyptus sauna whisk

Eucalyptus leaves are often used for colds – for example as a healing tea, as an infusion for gargling or for inhalation. The plant’s beneficial effect on recovery comes from the fact that eucalyptus contains up to 3% essential oils.

To use this kind of whisk against a cold in the sauna, soak it, then press the leaves to your face before starting the body massage and breathe in the scent through your nose and mouth. Wormwood, sage, chamomile and mint are often added to a eucalyptus bundle to enhance its effect and soften the sharp scent of the leaves.
